This is a hands-on regional HR role that supports the JAPAC HR Director in executing day-to-day HR operations across Southeast Asia, with a focus on Singapore and the Philippines, and ideally some exposure to Japan. This role is ideal for someone looking to deepen their regional HR expertise while gaining exposure to a fast-evolving AdTech business and cross-border stakeholder management. You’ll act as the go-to HR support across multiple markets, ensuring local execution aligns with regional policies and employment laws. The ideal candidate is required to have a solid command of end-to-end HR processes and must be highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, cross-border AdTech environment.
Strategic Business Partnership
• Partner with JAPAC leadership to develop and deliver people strategies aligned with business goals
• Use people data and insights to inform decision-making, workforce planning, and resource allocation
• Serve as a cultural ambassador and trusted advisor to managers across the region
Talent Management & Development
• Support recruitment efforts by advising on hiring strategies, role-scoping, and interview processes
• Oversee onboarding, ensuring a seamless and engaging new hire experience
• Drive performance management cycles, goal-setting, and feedback culture across SEA
• Implement career development and succession planning frameworks
• Coach managers on team dynamics, performance challenges, and engagement practices
People Operations & Compliance
• Draft and maintain employment contracts, policy documents, and variation letters
• Ensure ongoing compliance with local labour laws (Singapore, Philippines, and ideally Japan)
• Collaborate with Finance and external payroll vendors to support accurate pay cycles
• Maintain employee data in HRIS and support audits or internal reporting needs
Culture, Engagement & Change
• Lead local engagement initiatives aligned with global DEI and culture strategies
• Organise pulse surveys, analyse results, and follow through with action plans
• Support organisational change and restructuring with clear communication and planning
• Manage employee relations cases with a balanced, solutions-focused approach
• 5+ years' experience in HR Business Partner or HR Generalist roles, in AdTech, media, or fast-paced digital environments
• Strong knowledge of SEA labour laws, particularly Singapore and the Philippines
• Experience working in matrixed, multicultural teams across multiple geographies
• High proficiency with HR systems (e.g., Workday)
• Exceptional interpersonal skills – tact, discretion, and ability to influence across levels
• A proactive, solutions-first approach with excellent time management and organisation
• Bonus: Exposure to Japan HR operations or employment law
